Privacy

This site publishes only what the committee agreed should be public: name, father, line, generation, place, house, sex, and — where the source recorded it — spouse name and adoption.

It does not publish dates of birth or death, mobile numbers, email addresses, occupations, or addresses. Those facts, if the family later supplies them, are held in a separate collection that visitors cannot read.

Living people appear on the public tree. That was a committee decision. Contact details still do not.

Membership applications collect your name, login email, and how you belong to the family so the committee can match you to the tree. Approved members can see the private details held for anyone in the record: mobile, email, addresses, occupation, and dates of marriage and death. The year of birth is shown only to the person's own household and the committee; other members see the day and month. A member who asks to be taken out of the directory will be taken out.

The household form is for approved members. It stages what you send for the genealogy custodian. Nothing writes into the family record except by his field-by-field decision.
